How can I carry or mount Vario RGB 700?
At 2.26 oz and about a quarter the size of your hand, it slips into a pocket or bag without bulk. Carry it the way the job calls for:
- Magnetic back: Stick it to a car hood, toolbox, or any steel surface for hands-free light.
- Removable clip: Clip it to a cap, pocket, belt, or backpack strap. Clip it to a headband and it works as a headlamp.
- Lanyard: Loop the included lanyard around your wrist so it stays with you during rough use.
- In hand: The flat aluminum body sits comfortably in your palm.
What are the 13 lighting modes for?
Vario RGB 700 has two independent light systems, so one small light covers a lot of ground:
- Main white (40, 200, 700 lumens, Strobe, SOS): A cool white beam for night hikes, campsites, and roadside stops, with SOS there if you ever need it.
- UV (385nm): Spot pet stains, check banknotes, find fluorescent marks, or cure UV resin and adhesives.
- Front white (10, 30, 60 lumens): A soft neutral light for reading, device repairs, and close-up work. Easy on the eyes.
- RGB (Red, Green, Blue, RGB Chase): Ambient color for photos, movie nights, and outdoor gatherings.
It is rated IPX6, so heavy rain and splashes are no problem.
How do I turn Vario RGB 700 on and off?
The side button controls the main light and the front button controls the front light.
- Main white: Press and hold the side button for 1 second to turn it on or off.
- UV: With the main white on, double-click the side button.
- SOS: With the main white on, triple-click the side button.
- RGB: Press and hold the front button for 1 second to turn it on or off.
- Front white: With RGB on, double-click the front button.
The main and front lights run one at a time. When one is on, press and hold the other button for 1 second to switch over. Each light comes back on in the last mode you used.
How do I change the brightness or color?
- Main white: Click the side button to cycle through Low (40 lumens), Medium (200 lumens), High (700 lumens), and Strobe.
- Front white: Click the front button to cycle through Low, Medium, and High.
- RGB: Click the front button to cycle through Red, Green, Blue, and RGB Chase.
How long does the battery last, and how do I charge it?
The built-in 1000mAh battery gives you up to 1 hour 48 minutes on High (700 lumens), 10.5 hours on Low, and up to 95 hours of RGB ambient light. The included USB-C cable charges it fully in about 2 hours.
To check the battery, click the side button while the light is off: green means 31% or more, red means 10% to 30%, and flashing red means it is time to charge.
Tossing it in a bag? Press and hold the side button for 3 seconds until the indicator flashes blue to lock it, so it cannot switch on and drain. Do the same to unlock; it flashes green.
