Who is eligible for the In Service discount?
Active duty Military (all branches), Veterans (honorably discharged), First Responders (sworn law enforcement, firefighters, EMS, search and rescue, dispatch), and Medical Workers (doctors, nurses, EMTs, licensed healthcare staff). Eligibility is determined by GovX ID, an independent verification service.
What is GovX ID?
GovX ID is the industry standard for verifying military, first responder, and medical eligibility online. They confirm your status with the relevant authorities and grant you access to discounts across hundreds of brands. Scoutlite never sees your service records, only your verified status.
How long does verification take?
Most members verify in under 60 seconds. If GovX needs additional documentation it can take up to 48 hours, and they will email you with next steps.
Does the 20% stack with sale prices?
Your 20% In Service discount can stack with one other site-wide promotion such as the Welcome 10%. During major sales like Black Friday, Scoutlite applies whichever discount is greater, and In Service returns automatically once the sale ends.
Can I share my discount code with family?
Codes are personal to the verified member. Sharing them is against the program terms and will void future eligibility. Spouses of active military can verify under their own GovX ID.
What if my verification fails?
